It is my pleasure to recommend Mr.
Chester Martin as a tutor in mathematics.
For several years Mr. Martin served as a staff member of the Advancement
Studies Academic Learning Center at Central Piedmont Community College. As the
center’s coordinator, I found Chester to be an invaluable asset to our
program. His expertise in tutoring a wide range of college mathematics quickly
gained him a campus-wide reputation as a tutor and staff member. In addition
to his mathematics skills, Mr. Martin consistently exemplified the
characteristics of a model employee in punctuality, reliability, and integrity.
He willingly served in volunteer capacities as a member of campus clubs, most
notably, The Organization of Peer Counselors and Tutors, an organization in
which he excelled in his natural leadership abilities. Chester’s value
as an employee far exceeded the required expectations of a tutor, for he led
and taught by example.
I recommend Mr. Martin unconditionally. He is a natural teacher.
Sincerely,
Steve Mullis
